Activity Day
Activity Day is a wonderful benefit of being a member of SHE. These weekly co-op classes are offered for additional fees and allow your family to take various types of classes with other homeschooling families. Classes are taught by SHE parents or outside teachers and range in age from preschool through high school.
Activity Day is held on Thursdays and runs for 24 weeks: 12 weeks in the fall, starting in September, and 12 weeks in the winter, resuming mid-January. Multiple classes are held each hour between 9:00 and 3:00, and each class is 55 minutes long.
Activity Day is comprised of homeschooling families working alongside each other to help their children have the best homeschooling experience possible. Parents are not allowed to drop off their children and must be responsible for them at all times. In order to make AD a success, it is crucial that all participants are actively involved. Parents must help in classrooms and fill other areas of need. We are all volunteers working for the good of the entire group.
