Sick Policy
Family members should not attend any SHE activity if they are during the contagious stage of illness or have any of the following.
-
Upper respiratory or flu/COVID symptoms
-
Vomiting or diarrhea within 24 hours prior to the SHE activity or AD
-
Fever (Members must be fever-free without medication for at least 24 hours prior to the SHE activity or AD.)
-
Communicable disease (head lice, chickenpox, ringworm, etc.)
Should you or your child contract a communicable disease and you or your child participated in any SHE activity or AD classes during the contagious time, please notify our Health Coordinator. If you are unsure if you or your child was contagious, please err on the side of caution and contact the Health Coordinator.
An email will be sent to all SHE members if a contagious person attended a SHE activity or to all AD participants if a contagious person attended Activity Day. We will let members know which communicable diseases they may have been exposed to and provide a list of the activities or AD classes in which the contagious person participated, but to maintain the privacy of the family, no names will be used.
